Iran announced that it targeted the centers of Israeli intelligence such as Mossad and Unit 8200 in a ballistic missile attack on Glilot Base near Tel Aviv.
“This morning, the Iranian Air-Space Forces, despite the high-developed defense systems, launched an effective attack against the Zionist regime's military intelligence center Aman and the terrorist operations planning center, Mossad, despite the high-developed defense systems; the center in question is currently on fire,” the Revolutionary Guards said in a statement.
According to the news of Ynet, multiple missiles were hit around Herzliya in the Tel Aviv region, a bus burned and an eight-story building was damaged. Videos of the moment the missiles fell show this region where big explosions took place.
The Israeli press announced that military censorship was applied to the area affected by Iranian missiles in the Glilot region; news and images on the subject were censored.
Important intelligence centers such as Mossad and Unit 8200 are located in this region. Some sources state that the logistics or warehouse facilities of the Unit 8200 were targeted. The analysis of satellite and narrow angle images confirms that the missiles fell near the Mossad facilities.
The Israeli administration has prevented the sharing of information about the damage caused by Iranian missiles.
Unit 8200, one of Israel's elite intelligence units, operates under the Israeli Military Intelligence Organization Aman. Working in the fields of electronic wiretapping, cyber intelligence, signal cutting, data collection and analysis, this unit is considered the backbone of Israel's digital espionage operations. According to many commentators, Unit 8200 is Israel's "cyber warfare brain."
Iran announced this morning that the ninth phase of the "True Promise 3" had begun and that attacks against Israel would increase.
In retaliation for Israel's attacks on Iran, Iran's ballistic missiles caused unprecedented destruction in Tel Aviv and Haifa, while dozens of people died and hundreds were injured.
On the other hand, Israel continues its airstrikes against Iran. More than 224 Iranians, including women and children, died in Israeli attacks. As a result of the explosion in Tabriz, northwest of Tehran, heavy smoke rose in the morning.
Last night, the Israeli air force attacked the headquarters of Iranian state television during a live broadcast.
